In 1981 & 1982 the ship was converted to an ocean going passenger ship at Nicoverken AB, 
Gothenburg. The vessel cruised in the Baltic, along the coast of Europe, in the Mediterranean, 
and West Africa. In 1986 the vessel was laid up in Stockholm. From 1987 until 1996 the ship 
cruised worldwide to the Baltic, Norway, Svalbard, Iceland, Greenland, the Canadian Arctic, the 
east coast of the U.S., the Caribbean, Central America, Baja California, South America, the 
Amazon and Orinoco rivers, western Europe, and the Mediterranean. In 1997 it took up permanent 
residence in Gal?agos. Currently present Operates in Gal?agos year-round as an Eco Cruise 
Charter.
